As a photographic artist who loves animals and paints digital portraits of them for licensing, it seems a natural extension to offer Custom Pet Portraits for clients who wish to memorialize their furred and feathered loved ones. Our memories of the time we spend with our pets, which is always too short, is captured in all the photographs we take during their lifetime with us. Those photographs are what I use to create digital oil paintings. Pet Photo Sessions
Doreen Erhardt is classified as a Master Photographer and has just recently added Pet Photo Shoots to her offerings. She will come to your home and photograph your pets in their own environment and with the people they love. These portraits will show the true personality of your pets because they will not be stressed by a trip to an unfamiliar place, with other pets and people as distractions.
Fees vary depending on how many pets and people are to be included in the session and the travel involved to reach the location of your choice, however, if you sign a release form allowing the photographer to use the photographs taken of your pets in the art and design of new creations, your pets then become PAWSitively PETrageous Models and the photo session fee will be significantly reduced or waived. Pet Photo Sessions are currently only offered within the Amador and Calaveras Counties, though Sacramento county will be considered.
